Chris....my compliments on "Sound Check".....tons of great local talent in a number of genres.....it only takes someone with an interest and a nice writing style to enlighten the masses. When dinosaurs still roamed the earth I wrote a similar column for a local rag which centered on local talent, gigs and open mics/jams in Gainesville, Florida (University of Florida).....

Keep up the nice work...Brent Lilley

HA HA!!! BUSTED!!!

See link below

You do work for TWC!

Anyone who reads this will now understand how biased your "arguments" really are.

Its funny that an "installation tech" for TWC has taken such an interest in the business of the COMPETITORS efforts under the disguise of a concerned citizen. Way to go Andy Stevens!! Hopefully you'll lose your job after the exec's at TWC see all the negative press. Too funny!

Revenue keeps falling -- meanwhile the police department can't hire and fill their vacancies. The problem isn't one of "PR" or of a "small vocal opposition". The problem is that MIC has a limited subscriber base and can't overcome the debt from the inflated purchase price.

The ToM board and the Citizens Advisory Committee would suggest that every citizen in Mooresville should sign on and help out. Sorry, but I'm paying less and receiving greater benefits from DirecTV and Windstream.

When will it be time to cut the losses?

Interesting, this Bill would protect consumers and home-owners. Look at who is out in the front-lines fighting against home-owners concerns. Imagine a lawyers reaping millions a few hundered at a time for a minimum wage employee mailing a collection letter. They are not fighting for HOAs rights they are fighting for easy money being funnelled to them by companies like Hawthorne.

While I'm happy that they are opening this birth center and think it's a great option for women in this area, I am sad that they won't be offering VBACs. I had my first VBAC at Lake Norman Regional and I still felt like it was a very medical "procedure" I am looking for a more natural and normal birth experience for my next so I suppose I'll be having a homebirth. The success rate for a VBAC is over 70%. The cesarean rate at Iredell Memorial? 31.5% And at Lake Norman Regional? 35.5% so tell me, how is it that VBACs are higher risk?

At it again I see... your delusional arguments carry no weight. Let us know when you have any clue how to run a business. In the meantime give it a rest. Your tired arguments are boring. But I will prove just how ignorant you really are if you persist. Round 1...ME

What credability does Sam Hick's of Hawthorne Management have? Hawthorne funnels hundreds of thousands of dollars to Seller's law firm every single year. Sam Hick's, Hawthorne Management and Seller's are out for their own greedy interest. Sellers, Hinshaw makes millions and millions of dollars a year off the backs of honest hardworking people. Give me a break - they mail a single letter and demand $200-300 for a fill in the name and address standard form letter that takes them 30 seconds. I would assume Hick's is fighting this hard becuase they get a piece of the action.
