UNION GROVE – Sheriff’s detectives arrested a Union Grove family Jan. 24, following a three-month investigation of prescription drug sales from their Mathis Drive home.
James Bryant Caudill, 41; Kelly Dawn Caudill, 40; and their daughter, Kayla Dawn Caudill, 21, were charged with maintaining a dwelling to sell controlled substances, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
Detectives searched the home, seizing $800 worth of oxycodone, as well as Iredell County investigative funds, officials said.
They were taken to the Iredell County Detention Center. Bonds amounts were $15,000 for James Caudill, $10,000 for Kelly Caudill and $10,000 for Kayla Caudill.
The sheriff’s office also arrested Samantha D. Cash, 22, of Oakleaf Road in Harmony, on Jan. 25 in connection to drug traffic originating from the family’s home, officials said. Cash received a $35,000 bond.
