Statesville man faces drug charges

STATESVILLE – Narcotics detectives arrested a Statesville man on drug charges Jan. 19, following a two-month investigation, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives found more than 28 grams of marijuana packaged for sale and drug paraphernalia while serving a search warrant at 119 Riverfield Drive, officials said. They arrested Cesare Davis, 28, of the home.

Davis was charged with four counts of felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, four counts of felony maintaining a dwelling and three counts of felony sell and deliver marijuana.

He received a $15,000 secured bond, pending his next court date.

Other arrests are expected, as the investigation is ongoing, officials said.
