MOORESVILLE – The Mooresville Police Department is investigating the death of a 17-year-old resident as a homicide, officials said Nov. 20.
Preliminary results of an autopsy conducted Nov. 19 indicate that Markell Terrice Norris died as a result of a gunshot wound, officials said.
Police found Norris on Nov. 16 at 331 Bell St., upon responding to a call in reference to an unconscious person. They found him dead.
