The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has released its annual NC School Report Card report on students’ test results, school violence, teacher certification and class sizes for public schools.

Brawley Middle

Out of 700 students, 87.4 percent passed reading end-of-grade exams and 94.1 percent passed math end-of-grade exams.

The school reported no incidents of crime or violence.

Brawley Middle has 46 classroom teachers, all of which are fully licensed and highly qualified. The school, which has a 2-percent turnover rate, has 14 teachers who are national-board certified.

Coddle Creek Elementary

Out of 413 students, 82.3 percent passed reading end-of-grade exams and 87.2 percent passed math end-of-grade exams.

The school reported no incidents of crime or violence.

Coddle Creek Elementary has 42 classroom teachers, all of which are fully licensed and highly qualified. The school, which has a 15-percent turnover rate, has two teachers who are national-board certified.

East Mooresville Intermediate

Out of 624 students, 85.6 percent passed reading end-of-grade exams and 93.4 percent passed math end-of-grade exams.

The school reported no incidents of crime or violence.

East Mooresville has 31 classroom teachers, all of which are fully licensed and highly qualified. The school, which has an 8-percent turnover rate, has five teachers who are national-board certified.

Lake Norman Elementary

Out of 327 students, 89 percent passed reading end-of-grade exams and 94.2 percent passed math end-of-grade exams.

The school reported no incidents of crime or violence.

Lake Norman High

At Lake Norman High, more than 95 percent of 464 students passed end-of-course exams in English I, 87 percent of 276 students passed Algebra I, and 93.3 percent of 491 students passed biology.

Lakeshore Elementary

Out of 358 students, 87.4 percent passed reading end-of-grade exams. Among 359 students, 93.6 percent passed math end-of-grade exams.

Mount Mourne IB

Out of 487 students, more than 95 percent passed reading and math end-of-grade exams.

Out of 815 students, 92 percent passed end-of-grade exams in reading and more than 95 percent passed end-of-grade exams in math. More than 95 percent of 130 students passed end-of-course exams in biology, more than 95 percent of 136 students passed end-of-course exams in English, and 90.9 percent of 132 students passed end-of-course exams in algebra.

The school reported three violent or criminal incidents.

Pine Lake Preparatory has 99 classroom teachers, of which 75 percent are fully licensed and 74 percent are highly qualified.
