MOORESVILLE – First Presbyterian Church encourages people to bring a gallon of their signature chili to the eighth annual chili cook-off.

Three winners will emerge from the cook-off.

The event starts at 6 p.m. Jan. 27 in the fellowship hall, 249 W. McLelland Ave.

The meal costs $4 for adults; $2 for children or $15 maximum for families. Proceeds benefit mission projects.
